The challenge
Cero70 was marking 30 years in business with the third edition of its oral and maxillofacial radiology symposium: a full auditorium, speakers from Colombian universities and a guest specialist from Peru. In a diagnostic imaging symposium the radiograph on screen matters as much as the person explaining it, and that rules out parking a single camera at the back of the room.
The technical solution
Multi-camera in the room, and the feed where people already are
Multi-camera production cut live from a control room set up on site, alternating between the speaker and the diagnostic image being pointed at. Remote attendees joined through a <b>Microsoft Teams town hall run by Time Solutions</b>: they used a tool that is already open on their work computer, with nothing to install and no new platform to learn, and with the access control a corporate environment provides.

Questions about this project
Why broadcast over Teams instead of an open public link?
Because for a professional audience Teams is already installed and open on their work machine: nobody has to create an account or download anything. The town hall format also controls who gets in, which an open public link does not — anyone walks in and there is no record of who attended.
What does multi-camera change in a radiology symposium?
It means the diagnostic image is visible when it matters. With a single camera at the back of the room, the radiograph the speaker is pointing at is far away and unreadable. Cutting live between the speaker and the presentation feed lets someone watching from home see the exact detail being discussed, at the moment it is discussed.
How long does a setup like this take?
For a six-hour programme with multi-camera and an on-site control room, load-in and signal testing happen the same day, before doors open. A prior technical visit to the auditorium is what makes that window workable without improvising.
